Who Is on Call?

During the week, one of the physicians from Pediatrics of Southwest Houston will return your calls.  We do not use a nurse triage line at night.  On the weekends, we share call with the following pediatricians:

Weekends

The office on call will have office hours either on Saturday or Sunday mornings for sick visits from 9-11am.  If your child is sick during the weekend, call the office number to arrange an appointment.  The answering service will tell you who is on call for the weekend.

24-hour Call Coverage

We offer 24 hour a day call coverage, 7 days a week.  We are here to help you, so don't hesitate to call when your child is sick.  We can often offer advice that keeps you out of the emergency room.  When you have an after hours emergency, call our regular office number, press 0, and ask the answering service to page the doctor on call.  You should receive a call back within 20 minutes.  Please be advised that we do not do medication refills after hours.
