Dr. Jacobo Goldberg founded Pediatrics of Southwest Houston over 30 years ago. Dr. Goldberg was born in Mexico City, where he received his medical degree at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1972. He completed his Pediatric internship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and he completed his Pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he received additional training in Hematology and Oncology. 

Upon finishing his residency and fellowship, he joined the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics as an Assistant Clinical Professor and has mentored many medical students and residents through the years.

Over the years, his practice grew to accommodate the needs of the community.  At the end of 2009, he moved to his new location. Today, Pediatrics of Southwest Houston serves the greater Houston area with the help of Dr. Jennifer Macia, Dr. Lucy Graubard and Dr. Naomi Levy.

Dr. Goldberg has been married since 1970 to his wife, Raquel.  They have two children, Michelle and Mark, and three grandchildren, Maya, Zev and Leo. He loves to spend time with his family and to travel.
